Good move getting JJ, they only get old for a year with Jones, he is nothing more than a rental, keeping the spot warm for Maybin next year. A JJ/Thames platoon in LF is a solid move. It's a left handed Craig Monroe almost. If he can hit like he did last year and not the two before that, it's a good move. He has more room to play than Infante. The only problem I have is that it seems the Tigers keep getting older, and, besides pitching, where's the reloadability? Granderson is the only everyday player under 30 years old. Is there some knock on him defensively? It seems the Tigers would've been better to keep Infante over Santiago.
