18th in the Power Rankings

ESPN.com released their power rankings and the Tigers start the season at 18th.  That’s behind everyone in the AL Central ahead of just the Twins at number 23.  I’m curious as to what people think.  Do you think they’ll finish above or below this ranking by the end of the season?

I think people are overcompensating for getting last year so wrong, and not factoring in enough for the improved defense and the uniqueness of last season. So yeah, I think the Tigers finish above that.

I’m in the same boat. While I’m not willing to jump on the band wagon, I think they’ll finish second place with a .500+ record. Those first six hitters are still going to score some runs and the pitching can’t be THAT bad again.
