Edwin Jackson Runs Out of Gas

The Tigers lost another one last night.  Francisco Liriano held the Tigers in check most of the game and while they were able to get two runs off him, this is a guy who had struggled so far this year.  Edwin Jackson threw six pretty good innings, but unfortunately, he was in there in the seventh and he was tagged (with some help) for three of the five runs the Twins put on the board that frame.  Brandon Lyon and Clay Rapada were Jackson’s partner’s in crime in the seventh and while Rapada didn’t get touched with a run, he gave up a two run single that allowed two inherited runners to score.

A Night to Dismember hd The Tigers managed just four hits in the contest.  One of them was Miguel Cabrera’s sixth homerun and he has an eight game hitting streak going.  He was also one of two Tigers not to strikeout.

Mean Creek the movie

The School of Rock trailer This series is a quick one and tonight it’ll be Nick Blackburn against Rick Porcello.  Rick has had two straight rough outings to hopefully he can bounce back tonight.
