« Tigers First Round Draft Pick | »

Things are starting to wear on the Tigers and Tram. This reminds me a little of 1989, when Sparky had to take time off because the Tigers were doing so bad, and just after two straight good years.

For those of you that listen to the Locker Room (AM 1270, 4-7 pm. In my opinion, the best sports talk show out there), they’ve talked about the fact that one downside of having so many young players on a team is they’re all playing for their lives/careers, and they’re playing so tight, they can’t do anything.

And there’s not a whole lot of light at the end of the tunnel. Matt Anderson, who going into the season, at least had some trade value, is struggling in Toledo. Remember that this guy was a number 1 pick.
