Sean Casey Goes Yard

If I ever said anything bad about Sean Casey, i take it all back.  Every Single Word.  Two run shot for Casey and it’s Tiger 2, Cardinals 1

***UPDATE***

Well, that lead didn’t last too long and Brandon Inge just struck out to end the game.  Congratulations to the St. Louis Cardinals on there series win.  The game recap will be up tomorrow at the Hardball Times and I’ll do a little retrospective most likely on Sunday.

jim leland need fired. the main reason for not starting Roger’s in game one and not starting him in game 5. What a joke.

The Tigers got beat by a better team. I have no problem with that. Nothing to be sad about this was a great year…GO TIGERS!!

1. I agree that Leyland blew it by not starting Rogers in game 1 or atleast not moving him up to game 5 after the rainout. I don’t think it’s a fire-able offense but dumb nonetheless.

Starting Rogers wouldn’t have won us the World Series. We needed to win three more games not just one. You cannot blame the manager for the way the Tigers played. He wasn’t the one on the field. The players were on the field and ultimately they are responsible for the success or failure of the team.
